While the Rams had already secured a post-season berth earlier on game day, the Seattle team secured their place to the postseason after a two-year absence.

With this result, the Seahawks now lead their Conference race with a twelve and three mark, supplanting the Rams, who dropped to the fifth playoff position with an 11-4 record.
