Russia Progressively Targeting Trains as Assaults on Ukraine's Railway System Accelerate

Based on statements from a high-ranking Ukrainian government minister, strikes on the country's rail network have increased threefold since mid-year as the Kremlin attempts to disrupt one of Kyiv's vital supply networks.

"It was darkness and all personnel was resting," recalled the facility manager. "I woke up from the huge detonation because I reside very adjacent to the station. It happened at 2:44 am."

Train workers indicate that ongoing dangers remain considerable, with attackers increasingly attacking places where individuals assemble, tracks, trains, and power systems.
