Lastly, we need additional measures to help our businesses conduct global commerce. No plausible financial outlook for Britain that does not place us as a welcoming, business-oriented country.

We must confront the reality that the botched Brexit deal substantially damaged our finances. One doesn't require to have a PhD in economics to know that establishing superfluous business impediments with your largest commercial ally will hurt growth and raise the cost of living.
